Your Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

• Lead, train, and manage the full kitchen team

• Create menus, recipes, plating standards, and portioning

• Ensure authentic Indian cuisine quality while controlling food cost

• Oversee kitchen operations: prep, cooking, quality control, stock

• Maintain HACCP, hygiene, and audit-ready kitchen standards

• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and FIFO stock rotation

• Monitor KPIs: food cost %, wastage %, prep timing, service flow

• Collaborate with management on menu pricing & promotions

• Maintain calm, confident leadership under pressure

• English required (read/write/speak). South Indian dishes a plus.

Who We’re Looking For

• 7  years plus of experience in Indian cuisine (North, South, or fusion)

• Previous Head Chef or Sous Chef leadership experience

• Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety & kitchen management

• Ability to train chefs and maintain consistent quality

• Strong English communication skills

• Willing to relocate to Bucharest for a long-term role
